Cairo: 10 Days / 9 Nights Cairo - Religious trips - Cairo
Day 1: ARRIVE at Cairo Airport , assist thru immigration and customs formalities ,and transfer by AC coach or limo to your hotel for overnight. Day 2: Early after breakfast, you start your journey towards Pelisium, an Egyptian city on the eastern mouth of the Nile river, it lies about 30 km southeast of port Said ,one of the first resting places of the Holy Family .From here you will follow the trek of the Holy Family to Basta or Tel Basta, a short distance from Zagazig about 65 miles from Cairo. Here Jesus caused a water spring to well up from the ground, You will visit the site of Belbeis (Philippos) , where they rested in the shade of a tree which came to be called The Virgin Mary 's Tree .back to your hotel and overnight At night visit tha holy virgin Mary church at Maadi. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: After breakfast ,you will visit the Church of St Mary in Mostorod where the Holy family took shelter And Jesus gushed forth a spring of water which exists , Then proceed to Samanoud to visit St Abbanob church which contains his relics and huge round granite trough for making dough which is said Virgin Mary used ,continue to Sakha to visit the church of St Mary church where the foot of Jesus was imprinted on a rock, at night visit the little chapel of Virgin Mary at Zeitoun district where she appear in 1970.
Day 4: Today we drive to Natroun Valley which the Holy Family passed through. Natroun valley contain 4 monasteries teemings with monks and continue toward st minas monastery , and back to hotel for overnight.
Day 5: After breakfast we drive toward Matareya where the virgin Mary tree stand still on the way back you will visit very important chapel of St Mary at el zeitoon district where Virgin Mary appeared over the domes and accompanied by splendid miracles , following with a quick trip to visit Zouwela alley where the Holy Family stayed for a while, after lunch a visit to Old Cairo churches , and back to your hotel and overnight.
Day 6: After breakfast, you start your journey with the Coptic museum at old Cairo district and visit the the church of the Holy virgin on the banks of the Nile at Maadi,to the south of Cairo ,where Jesus and his Virgin Mother boarded a sailing boat to the village Deir Al- Gharnousin Upper Egypt, near the town of Maghagha, where the monastery of Araganos was later founded,continue your way to Minia and overnight.
Day 7: Trip to the monastery of the holy virgin at Al Qusiya which we believe the Holy Family stayed over 3 years.. back to your hotel and overnight.
Day 8: Today a free day and c/o from your hotel and back to Cairo overnight
Day 9: Visit the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum and overnight
